Robert Desnos Media Library

Located in Argenteuil, the Robert Desnos Media Library is an iconic cultural venue dedicated to reading, discovery, and community engagement. Designed as an open and welcoming space, this public facility offers a variety of atmospheres conductive to both concentration and social interaction.

For this project, 1 200 m² of Flotex panoramic flooring was installed throughout the library’s various spaces. This choice helped create a strong, immersive visual identity by incorporating custom designs. The bespoke patterns help structure the spaces, guide foot traffic, and reinforce the venue’s unique character.

Thanks to its innovative technology, Flotex combines the comfort of carpet with the performance of PVC flooring. It offers excellent resistance to heavy traffic, making it particularly suitable for public spaces, while ensuring optimal acoustic comfort. Its dense nylon fiber surface also allows for easy and effective maintenance, meeting the hygiene and durability requirements of cultural spaces.
