Textile flooring in a yum cha restaurant. On paper, it shouldn't work. In practice, it's exactly right.
Mrs Wang is the modern Chinese restaurant at the heart of Tiger Lane. Onterior Life specified Forbo Flotex for the restaurant floor.
But the real reason Flotex works in Mrs Wang is the one nobody sees: its vinyl base. Unlike traditional carpet, Flotex fibres are bonded into a non-porous backing. Spilt tea, soy sauce, stay on the surface, they do not absorb and are easily cleaned.
