Les modèles de Marmoleum imaginés par Dare to Rug font référence à trois éléments essentiels du folklore roumain, très imposants dans leur singularité, mais formant une alliance harmonieuse. Les motifs s'entremêlent au fil de la collection et rendent un puissant hommage au design roumain traditionnel.

Les trois modèles, BEE, MEADOW et PEONY, sont disponibles dans trois combinaisons de couleurs, afin de permettre une grande variété d'applications. Les tailles des designs sont proportionnelles afin de permettre des mariages ludiques.

Dare to Rug est également à l'origine de DtR COMBI, dans lequel les trois modèles MEADOW, BEE et PEONY sont combinés pour donner naissance à un design à part entière. Ce long panneau de 512 x 96 cm, fabriqué grâce à la technologie Aquajet, se compose de sept fragments de modèles, liés par un tapis ethnique.

About Dare to Rug

Dare to Rug is a Romanian brand launched in 2015 by Andreea Batros and Flavia Scînteanu. The 2 young Romanian interior designers are based in Bucharest where they run a studio and a showroom with their rug collections. Their first rug collection, Romanian Moods, was presented to the international market at this year’s edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

Their hand-tufted rugs mix craft with modern design and are inspired by traditional Romanian patterns. In their selection of materials and dyes which they use for their products they strongly focus on sustainability.
