The design of the central reading room is based on the desire for "reading under the open sky", the subject areas are assigned to individual terraces. The so-called reading islands were provided with black linoleum (Marmoleum Dual 630) as floor covering, green furniture linoleum desktop was used for the reading tables. A total of over 26,000 m² was moved.
