Forbo Siegling is one of the leading manufacturers of conveyor and processing belts. On stand 6070 at this year’s Tire Expo it looks forward to presenting solutions geared to the specialised processing steps in tyre manufacturing.
The belt manufacturer will show its portfolio of conveyor and processing belts, plastic modular and timing belts that offer the right solution for each application and harness the potential of production machinery to the full.
The fabric or nonwoven-based Siegling Transilon belts are used in many areas as reliable all-rounders or as high-tech specialists. A particularly large range is available to cover blending through to tyre storage. Apart from the special requirements involved in each of the processing steps, the belts are extremely durable, can tolerate high temperatures or chemicals and have excellent release properties.
As extra products designed for extreme production conditions, such as vast heat, Siegling Transtex are very tough and long-lasting. The same applies to plastic modular belts from the Siegling Prolink brand. They manage conveying and processing jobs, not possible with conventional belting material. Adapting the length and width is possible and single modules are quick to exchange. Many belts can withstand high temperatures and are therefore ideal for extruders or calenders, as well as on cooling equipment.
