LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles) is a floor covering with many advantages. This is the experience of the Newbe store in Denmark. The 300 m² large store opened in October with an Allura LVT floor from Forbo Flooring, and a Coral mat at the entrance.
Newbe can keep the floor clean by vacuuming and floor-washing.
“It is easy to maintain; the soft vinyl floor turns down the sound and it is comfortable to walk and stand on.” says Cathrine Blank Schøn, the manager of Newbe. "That is one of the big advantages when you receive customers in the store 8 hours each day!"
The choice of Allura in oak design in planks of 150x28 mm has been taken to a new level by the installation in herringbone pattern. The installation was carried out by Flooring Contractor Garant in Slagelse directly on the concrete floor of the store and on the stairs to the stock and office.
Garant manager Jacob Holberg glued the planks; "Allura is easy to install provided that the subfloor is smooth. I think one of the best advantages of Allura is its silence – you can hardly hear the footsteps. This is very important in environments with heavy traffic."
