Modul'up

When will it be beneficial to install Modul'up?

Modul'up is an innovative 100% loose lay vinyl sheet collection, offered in acoustic and compact versions, that requires no glue, no tackifier, no double-sided tape adhesive. Designed for use in high traffic commercial areas, it offers an ideal rapid-fit solution where a reduction in downtime is an important factor, and in situations where clients want to avoid the removal of their existing floor coverings.

Are there any special subfloor requirements for Modul'up?

Modul'up can be installed on a variety of subfloor types, including old floor coverings such as vinyl and asbestos tiles. However, as with any resilient sheet (or tile) floor covering, the subfloors should be free of contaminants. smooth, sound and even, as the quality of the finished floor will be largely dependent on the quality of the subfloor on which it is laid, and unevenness or irregularities will show through the finished floor covering.

Can Modul'up be laid on a damp subfloor?

No - all subfloors should be permanently dry and incorporate an effective structural damp proof membrane.
