An All Natural Product
Marmoleum is a natural floor made from 97% natural raw materials, 72% of which are rapidly renewable, along with a 43% recycled content. The key raw materials used in its production include linseed oil, which comes from the flax plant seeds, wood flour as production waste from controlled forestry plantations and jute, a crop whose fibres provide the material for the membrane onto which the linoleum is calendared.

The World’s Most Sustainable Floorcovering
The flowers of the flax plant deliver linseed which is harvested and pressed to produce vegetable oil. Linseed oil is mixed which natural rosin obtained from FSC controlled forestry. When these ingredients are mixed together we create linoleum cement. In order to create our Marmoleum we add wood flour obtained from the branches and roots of pine and limestone. Finally we add natural pigments and mix everything together. The colourful granules are pressed on a jute canvas. This calandering process in the end makes the Marmoleum.
We offer Marmoleum in rolls, tiles and special formats such as pinboards for on the wall or finishing linoleum for furniture such as desks, cabinets and doors.
