Novilon Modular Wood offers high quality, dimensionally stable, heterogeneous vinyl planks in a wide format that have been specially designed for modular installation. The Wood designs have a natural look which is enhanced with the PUR Pearl finish which ensures an authentic matt surface that is also easy to maintain.

The inviting realistic Wood designs complement office, retail, leisure and hospitality spaces. Novilon Modular Wood planks are available in 3 plank sizes: 20x100, 20x120 and 28x150 cm.

Design Concept

Novilon Modular Design concept

The design concept of our Novilon Modular floor covering has been developed by our experienced international design team. Providing abstract, contemporary and more traditional wood and stone designs, Novilon Modular provides the scope to create attractive and unique interiors.

Wood
The wood designs have an authentic plank format (20 x 100 cm and 20 x 120 cm) and also a plank in a new size: 28 x 150 cm.

Stone
The Stone tiles can be installed in such a way to achieve the desired decorative effect with tile sizes of 50 x 50 cm. The natural design effect is enhanced with the PUR Pearl® finish which ensures an authentic matt surface that is also easy to maintain.

Novilon Modular can also complement adjoining textile or carpet tiles installation on the same tackifier and does not normally require a transition strip.

Installation

Novilon Modular Installation

We always recommend our products are installed by certified installers to ensure a professional finish and lasting floor performance. Full Installation instructions can be downloaded below.

Novilon Modular installation guidance note

1) Before installation the sub floor must be dry, rigid and smooth. Leveling is required when this is not the case.
2) Ascertain the centre of the room by drawing 2 perpendicular lines on the floor.
3) Place the Novilon plank or tile on the floor, on top of the dried to clear tackifier. Please note that there are arrows on the back of tiles which identify the recommended installation direction.
4) When approaching the wall draw the required correct size of the tile or plank.

For a well finished floor
1. Make sure all sub floors are in satisfactory condition.
2. Install materials under proper site conditions with correct acclimatisation.
3. Where applicable, use only Forbo Fix PS1 approved adhesive.

Recommended adhesives
The recommended adhesive is a Forbo Fix PS1 tackifier or for hard stuck Forbo Fix 540. Please contact your local customer service department for further information.

Forbo Novilon Modular Tiles and planks are easy to clean and maintain, thanks to their highly durable PUR finish. Usual house hold cleaning equipment is all that is required. Vacuum and damp mopping with a neutral detergent is all that is required. There is no need to seal or strip the floor throughout it's life. Forbo make a well known and highly regarded cleaner called Monel, often used on linoleum, vinyl and timber floors. easy to use and great for your floor.

Entrance mats are recommend to remove excess dirt and grit, which, will complement your floors appearance.
