Product Typification

2-Component epoxy primer.
Basis : Component A: epoxy resin. Component B: amines
Colour : Transparent.
Consistency : Thin liquid.

Consumption : 300-400 g/m² per coat, depending on the absorption capacity and smoothness of the subfloor.*
Curing : Final bond strength between 2 coats. 24 hours (passable).*
Specific weight : 1.08 g/cm³.


  • For fortifying cement screeds that are crumbling on the surface, bituminous substrates, cracked tiles and old, fixed water-soluble adhesive residues. 
  • As a DPM on moisture sensitive subfloors such as anhydrite, wooden granite etc. to prevent moisture from the levelling compound will penetrate into the subfloor. 
  • For sealing concrete and cement-based floors against moisture vapour transmission or residual moisture. 
  • For fortifying unstable surfaces. 
  • Applicable on somewhat greasy subfloors with an open structure. 
  • Also suitable for sealing cracks and seams in subfloors. 

Working Process

Storage : Store cool and dry.
Tools : Lambswool roller.
Open time : 30 minutes.*
Drying : At 20 °C, 24 hours per coat.*
Shelf Life : 6 months, in unopened packaging.

* The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.

300-400 g/m² per coat, depending on the absorption capacity and smoothness of the subfloor.*

  • The subfloor must have a good tensile and compression strength. The subfloor should also be smooth, clean and free from grease and dirt, according to the requirements of BS 8203 or DIN 18 365. 
  • Subfloors such as wooden granite, power-floated floors and sand/cement screeds should first be blast-tracked or milled. 
  • 021 Euroblock Reno is suitable as a DPM on moisture-resistant subfloors. 
  • During application the subfloor may be wet but not contain puddles.
  • It may not be a matter of moisture pressure. 
  • In advance always seek our technical data sheets. In doubt about the application ask for technical advice. 

User manual:
  • Add comp. B to comp. A, therefore cut through the synthetic cap and bottom of component B with a screwdriver. Thereafter unlock the packaging, in this way the hardener will easily penetrate into the resin.
  • Stir mechanically to a homogeneous mixture.
  • Apply the mixture immediately with a lambswool roller. Avoid puddles.
  • On strong porous subfloors as well as application as a DPM apply after 24 hours a second coat 021 Euroblock Reno.
  • To avoid adhesion problems of levelling compounds sprinkle the last coat always with 846 Quartzsand. As a DPM sprinkle the second coat.
  • After 24 hours remove excess 846 Quartzsand with a broom or industrial vacuum cleaner.
  • For sealing seams and cracks mix 021 Euroblock Reno with 846 Quartzsand until the required thickness. Fill the seam or crack with the mixture and seal the seams to approx. 20 cm width with 021 Euroblock Reno and thereafter apply 063 Eurotape into the wet coat. Thereafter prime with 021 Euroblock Reno and sprinkle directly with 846 Quartzsand.
  • Lower temperatures < 10 °C will increase the finale bond strength significantly.
  • Inject by using a professional (at the specialist store available) syringe.

Working conditions:
Required surrounding temperature : 18 - 23 °C.
Temperature for material and subfloor : min. 15° - max. 20 ºC.
Relative humidity : 40-70%.

Contains epoxy constituents. May produce an allergic reaction. Restricted to professional users.
