With a total thickness of 4mm, Marmoleum Acoustic reduces impact sound by 14 dB. A twinlayer linoleum built up from 2mm of Marmoleum and 2mm Corkment backing, it is available in 6 colours. Marmoleum Acoustic reduces installation costs as it can be installed in one run, as there is no need to lay Corkment and then Marmoleum.
At 3.5mm thick, Marmoleum Decibel offers the highest reduction of impact sound by 18 dB. This acoustic performance comes through laminating 2.5mm Marmoleum onto a 1mm thick base of polyolefin foam.
