Easy to apply

Furniture Linoleum is flexible and can be applied as a surface on all kinds of constructions. It is supplied in a roll format and can be applied both horizontally and vertically, as well as to curved surfaces.

Examples of products where Forbo Furniture Linoleum can be applied are: desks, chairs, stools, cabinets, doors and displays.

Hygienic & antistatic

The natural composition and the special surface finish ensure that Furniture Linoleum is naturally antistatic. The surface actively resists the build-up of static charges and prevents dust or dirt from sticking to the surface. Therefore Forbo Furniture Linoleum ensures a clean furniture surfacing solution.

Moreover, this natural surface linoleum doesn't show fingerprints!

Sustainable & durable

What makes linoleum special is that it is created from raw materials obtained from their natural habitat right where they grow and renew, often in just 12 months’ time.

Flax are annual crops that can be harvested just like wheat or corn. Extracting rosin is a continuous process, while wood flour, a waste material from the timber industry, is derived from European production forests. Limestone is available in abundance.

Our ingredients remove far more CO2 from the air than we emit in our manufacturing process. This makes Furniture Linoleum a climate positive product (cradle to gate).

Colour overview

Forbo Furniture Linoleum offers a range of 21 contemporary and modern colours that complement current design trends.

A number of new fresh and stylish colours have been added to the classic colour range, as have several warm hues and natural tones used in contemporary furniture, providing inspiration for a hospitality feel.

Alvar Aalto’s iconic Stool 60 is the most elemental of furniture pieces, equally suitable as a seat, a table, storage unit, or display surface. The legs are mounted directly to the underside of the round seat without the need for complicated connecting elements. Thanks to its geometry, the stool can be stacked to save space in a spiralling tower sculpture. Manufactured in 42 production steps at the A-Factory in Turku, Finland, Stool 60 is available in a wide variety of colours and finishes. Several million units of Stool 60 and its four-legged cousin, Stool E60, have been sold, making it one of the most cherished products in the history of design.
