The community centre was seen as an ideal place to showcase public art and the City’s commitment to sustainability. Forbo was chosen for its sustainable manufacturing practices, and in particular for the rapidly renewable linoleum products. Linoleum is moreover easy to cut for creating artwork such as that integrated directly into the flooring of the upper lobby.
