Sphera Homogeneous vinyl flooring - FAQ's

Listed below are the most frequently asked questions about our Sphera homogeneous vinyl flooring collection.

What is homogeneous vinyl?

Vinyl sheet flooring made of 1 solid single layer

Homogeneous vinyl flooring is made of 1 single layer that offers vibrancy and depth of colour. It is incredibly durable and stain resistant as well as flexible, making it super easy to install and a great flooring choice for heavy traffic areas, which is why it's commonly used in busy healthcare facilities.

Did you also know that there are two types of vinyl flooring?

1. Homogeneous: which is made of one solid layer
2. Heterogeneous: which consists of numerous layers formed by the emulsion process and built around a glass fibre carrier, this allows for stunning design visuals such as wood, concrete, stone and other digital printed designs. Such as our Eternal and Sarlon 19 dB vinyl sheet flooring.
